My Bio

In brief – I’m one with a never-ending bucket list and I love the self-help section of a bookstore! Welcome to my site.

I’m a self-taught individual who strives for self-improvement. It’s a curse – really. Although my post-secondary education was done the non-traditional way, I’ve held various and interesting positions in the private, public and non-profit sectors. My last, being with the Canadian Medical Association as Senior Manager of Conjoint Accreditation Services.

I am now enjoying retirement with my husband Gérald. We live in the small picturesque community of Manotick Ontario in the rural portion of the city of Ottawa – Canada’s capital. I believe I always had the appetite and the curiosity to discover the world. I’ve travelled to more than 30 countries, some more than once, and want to experience so much more. Backpacking in Nepal, scuba diving in Zanzibar, safaris in Tanzania, horse trekking in Mongolia, sea kayaking from atoll to atoll in Belize, walking the Camino, golfing in Wales, fly fishing in the Gaspé, wine tasting in Italy … I have been so fortunate and I’m always looking for a new adventure. Maybe my next one will help me make a difference in this world. I’ll keep you posted!

Born in Sturgeon Falls Ontario into a French Canadian family, I was one of 6 siblings. I’m a wife, a stepmom, a grandmother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt and a friend. I hope to consider you as one.
